Hi my name Dangus I am the lead guitarist for Thunderstruck the best AC/DC
tribute band ever! I hail from the concrete jungle of Birmingham, AL. I am 39 years
old, I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I moved to New Port Richey
FL in 1993. Florida is by far my favorite place to be, I figured if I lived here I wouldn’
t worry about coming to Florida on Vacation, leave on probation and come back on
violation. lol!!
I am self taught with the guitar, bass, and drum's and have always desired to
play and learn as much as I can. The above picture was taken at Al's Crossroads
when I was too young to be there. Al's Crossroad's in Birmingham, AL was the first
gig for me in a cover band, I have played in cover bands such as Vendetta,
Slammer, Deliala, Sly, etc. I traveled throughout the southeast running lights and
sound with fellow musicians such as Einstein, Mel and the Part Hats and
Eli.
I also had the privlege to play with bands and musicians like Bonham, Warrant,
(The night we saw Warrant they just blew my mind, in a good way) because Jani
Lane and the bass player were involved in a bar brawl. Cops were everywhere, I
knew right then that these guys were off the hook what a wild night I will forever
remember it. I also played with a couple other 80's Hair Bands. I had the
opportunity to meet Lars Ulrich in New Orleans and apprehended his autograph
what a down to earth guy!!!. I must say it is an honor to play for Thunderstruck with
musician's that are as serious as they come, Thunderstruck is our life. Come and
support us and you won't leave un-entertained!! Folk’s Dangus Rocks come on
down and we promise you will be Thunderstruck !!!!
